Vaidehi (Manisha Koirala) gets hitched to Raghuvir (Jackie Shroff), a NRI. Enduring the desolation of a miserable marriage, she chooses to flee from him when she discovers that she is pregnant and he needs to remove the kid from her. In her interest for opportunity, she meets Mythili (Mahima Chaudhury) a lady of the hour to-be, Janaki (Madhuri Dixit) a theater craftsman and Ramdulari (Rekha) a town maternity specialist – every one of whom are survivors of male hawkishness.
